Ingredients:

  • 1 serving (12 ounces) of fresh pizza dough
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 boneless, boneless, cubed chicken breast halves (2 ounces)
  • 1 (4 ounces) sweet Italian sausage
  • 1/4 cup onion cut vertically
  • 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
  • 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 4 ounces of mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 capsicum, seeded and sliced
  • 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme

Procedure For Making Chicken Mushroom Pizza:

  1. Turn the oven temperature up to 175 degrees C/350 degrees F.
  2. Sugar and active dry yeast should be added to the milk and mixed together. Just give the yeast some time to go to work. Check for froth or bubbles after 10 minutes.
  3. After sifting the flour, put it in the bowl of your mixer.
  4. Toss in an egg.
  5. To the flour, add the yeast and mix it in with a spatula.
  6. Blend the ingredients together on a medium-low speed in your mixer.
  7. Baking powder should be added now. Add more water if needed. Mix  to form a pliable dough.
  8. Place the dough in an oiled basin, cover with a moist kitchen towel, and let it rise for 30 min.
  9. Meanwhile, deep-fry the chicken strips in the vegetable oil. Put in some pepper and salt. Keep the chicken aside after it has finished cooking.
  10. Once the dough has risen enough, flour the work surface. Make a ball by kneading the dough. Roll out your dough into an oval shape by dusting it with extra flour and using a rolling pin.
  11. Put the pizza dough on a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet then add tomato sauce, mushrooms, cooked chicken, red onion, olives.
  12. Sprinkle some shredded Cheddar cheese over the pizza.
  13. Cook it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
